George Hotel Hathersage wedding photography

Alex and Charlotte chose the George hotel, a 500-year-old coaching Inn for their wedding celebrations. They first tied the knot  in pretty Bakewell at the registry office in the town centre. Then we went into the lovely formal gardens in the town behind the registry office and had photographs at the ‘Oldest Pudding Shop in the world’ as well as on to the little bridge over the river full of swans. Whilst we were there having a group photograph taken we were serenaded by an impromptu string duet…very romantic! After that, we headed off into the Peak District to the Lovely old coaching inn at Hathersage for Pimms and canapes. It was a gorgeous day for for a drive and a lovely gap for Alex and Charlotte to have a few minutes to themselves, before arriving at The George Hotel. This venue is a perfect venue for foodies with a small party of guests, who want that extra special menu choice, as well as charming, old fashioned service. When we first arrived there were lots of people in the lounge enjoying a proper old english high tea. So civilised!  Alex and Charlotte have gone off for a 3 week honeymoon….but they have their wonderful photographs to look forward to coming home to! See you soon x
