Lucy and Ben’s wedding at The Full Moon at Morton

Lucy and Ben at The Full Moon at MortonLucy and Ben’s Big Day at The Full Moon at Morton was a wonderfully romantic day. Lucy got ready at her Mum’s house and then travelled in style to The Full Moon, where Ben and the other guests were waiting. After the very tender and touching ceremony, everyone enjoyed a glass of Pimms whilst they turned the room around for dinner. Hilarious speeches followed by a small musical interlude by Lucy’s sister, Lindsay, singing a “Flight of the Phoenix” song finished off the afternoons’ events. We then drove to Papplewick for the evening’s entertainment. A very noisy disco affair accompanied by hot meaty rolls…..yum!
The Full Moon at Morton is only a stone’s throw away from Southwell and is the only pub in Nottinghamshire, that has a license for marriage ceremonies. Wedding photography at the Full Moon at Morton offers the best of both worlds; in its lovely peaceful setting, the gardens have happy ducks quacking freely and the recently refurbished interiors have a contemporary, but “olde world” feel. The photographs we took for Lucy and Ben’s wedding at The Full Moon at Morton are a great combination of old and new, traditional and contemporary. We took photographs both indoors and once the clouds cleared, we got out into the garden and took some great bridal portraits at the lamp post.
