Photographs at L’Asie bar for House of Fraser

Nottingham girls have fun fashion evening for charity photograph by beverley perkinsTonight The House of Fraser held a charity fashion show at the L’Asie Bar in Hockley. The event was held in aid of their favourite charity ‘Retail Trust’, which is the only charity of its kind, taking care of the 3 million people who work in retail, It offers counseling, career development and free legal advice as well as a raft of other services, which it may be worth checking out if you work in retail! The money raised from ticket sales and a fabulous raffle are all given to the charity.

Tonight's event was a wonderful glitzy affair with lots of lovely goodies in the goodie bags, which each attendee picked up at the end of the evening. All the modelling was done by House of Fraser staff both from the ‘front line’ in the store as well as in the offices.; giving their time freely. They all did a great job and it was a super opportunity for me to photograph all the girls dressed to kill in the latest styles from Oasis, French Connection and Phase Eight, to name a few. The L’Asie Bar is an intimate and atmospheric venue which offered a real photographic challenge. Don’t want it to be straight forward all the time, eh?! Its quite a fun thing to go on location and photograph aspiring models, so if you fancy a chance to live the experience, give ma phone to talk about the options 0115 9231537 and visit the website
